After spending 10 years as a handcrafted Log Home builder and 18 years in the Home Furnishings Industry… Woodrunner Log Works is a culmination of the two.
Woodrunner Log Works takes the beauty that Mother Nature has created and turns it into beautiful handcrafted “Tree to Table” Furniture and pieces for the Home, Office or Business.
Using a variety of wood species The Woodrunner works to bring out the natural grains and various elements within the wood and then finishes them with stains, oils, and resins to transform the piece into a work of art!
One can select form a piece that The Woodrunnner has already completed OR be involved in creating your own piece that will become a conversation piece as well as a family treasure!
The steps for creating your own custom piece is an easy 4 step process to create a one of a kind, “tree to” finished piece that will become a functional piece of art as well as a conversation piece that you will be proud to own!

Select your wood spieces and slab via video call with The Woodrunner or pictures where it will then be Kiln Dried and “Pre-Planed”.
When the slab that you selected comes back to my shop is when the real fun begins… the finishing process! This is where we will talk about the type of finish that you are wanting…….stain color, oil finish, resin fills and color to fill cracks, checks, and knot holes!
Select the style of table base or legs that your piece with stand on. The Woodrunner works with several manufacturers that each create a wide variety of choices.
OR you may already have a base or cabinet in place and you want The Woodrunner to just create your new table top, counter, island, etc.
In the process, this is the most important of them all… ENJOY YOUR FINISHED PIECE!!
